Reality sets it:
President Obama congratulated newly elected governors of both parties on Thursday, and he let them know that their victories showed that his midterm election predictions weren’t very accurate.
“I am a very proud Democrat, as some of you in the room are – although not as many as I had expected,” Obama said as the two dozen winners in the room laughed.
More seriously, Obama said he has “nothing but respect and regard for the chief executives of all 50 of our states.”
“I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you,” he said..
